XQY-QC Series
Square cup (XQY-QC): measures carbon equivalent, carbon and silicon content in about 60 s with a thermal analyzer; supports undercooling, nodularity and more for foundry furnace-front control.
The Thermal Analysis Cup (Square, XQY-QC series) consists of a rationally designed cup body and a high-precision thermocouple, serving as the consumable for rapid furnace-front analysis of molten iron composition. After molten iron is poured into the cup, it gradually solidifies; based on the temperature plateau of the cooling curve, the thermal analyzer automatically determines carbon equivalent (CEL), carbon (C) and silicon (Si) content in about 60 seconds. Suffix models cover CEL undercooling (4010), CEL/C/Si (4011), CEL/C/Si after nodularization (4012) and ductile iron nodularity (4050), widely used for rapid furnace-front quality control in foundries.
